01Who we are

Glissa is made and run by Growth Forging Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected]. "Glissa" and "the app" mean our iPhone app and the website at glissa.io. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using them.

02Who glissa is for

Glissa is about patterns in how you treat yourself around other people. It is written for adults. You must be old enough to enter this agreement where you live. If we learn that a child has given us personal data in a way the law forbids, we delete it.

03Not medical or mental health advice

Glissa names patterns in what you tell it and gives you small things to try. It does not diagnose anything, it is not treatment, and it is not a replacement for a therapist or a doctor. The reads in the app describe general psychology research. They are not about you specifically and they are not medical advice. The vent's replies are written by AI software and are not a professional's judgement.

If you are struggling, talk to someone real: a friend, your doctor, or a therapist. If you are thinking about harming yourself, put the app down and call the number for your country above. You agree not to use glissa as your only support in a crisis.

04Your phone is your account

There is no sign-in. Everything glissa knows about you lives in the app on your phone, and your subscription is tied to your Apple ID through the App Store. That means three things. Nobody but you can see your data. If you delete the app, your data is gone and we cannot restore it. And if you change phones, the app starts empty, and your subscription comes back through Restore purchases in the app.

05Subscriptions and payments

Glissa is free to download. The plan is a subscription bought through the Apple App Store, at the price shown to you at purchase: at launch, $7.99 a week or $59.99 a year, with a one-time offer of $39.99 for a year shown once inside the app. Apple's payment terms apply alongside these.

Renewal

A subscription renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, in your Apple ID subscription settings. Your Apple ID is charged at the start of each period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Trials and offers

If we ever offer a trial or an introductory price, its terms are shown at purchase. A trial becomes a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.

Refunds

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases under Apple's own policy, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund an App Store purchase ourselves.

Price changes

If a price changes, we tell you before it applies, and you can cancel before it does.

06What you write

What you type into glissa is yours. We claim no ownership of it. To write the vent's replies, you give us a limited licence to process what you write for that purpose alone, on the terms in our privacy policy. The licence ends when the text is deleted, which happens within 30 days of any reply.

You are responsible for what you write. You agree not to use the vent to write anything that breaks the law, exploits a minor, threatens or harasses a specific person, or violates someone else's rights. We do not read vents. If the law requires us to act on specific content, we will.

07How the AI works

The vent's questions and its ending, and the read of anything you type in a check-in, are written by an AI model, OpenAI's, through our own server, and only after you agree to it on the consent sheet in the app. AI makes mistakes. A reply can miss, misread, or not apply to you. Treat it as a question to think with, never as a fact about who you are. What is sent, and for how long it is kept, is in the privacy policy.

08Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer or copy the app or its content, except where the law expressly allows it; not to use the app to build a competing product or to train a model; not to reach our server by any means other than the app; not to get around the paywall, the rate limits, or the device check; and not to send anything harmful through the app. We may cut off access that breaks these rules.

09Our property

The app, the flame, the name, the designs, the patterns and their names, the questions, the dares, the reads and the software belong to Growth Forging Limited and are protected by law. These terms give you the right to use the app for your own, personal, non-commercial use, and nothing more.

10Availability

We keep glissa running as well as we can, and we do not promise it will never be interrupted, never have an error, or that the AI will always be reachable. When the model is out of reach, the app says so and keeps your vent for later. We may change, pause, or stop the app or any part of it. If we ever stop it entirely, we give you reasonable notice. Your data is on your phone throughout, so nothing of yours is held by us that you would need to export.

11Warranties

The app is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, or non-infringement, and any warranty that the app will meet your needs, that the AI's replies will be accurate or useful, or that the app will be uninterrupted or secure.

12Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Growth Forging Limited and its officers, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, that comes from your use of the app. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app or these terms is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and €100. Where the law where you live does not allow a limitation, it applies to you only as far as that law permits.

Indemnity

You agree to hold Growth Forging Limited harmless from any claim, loss or cost, with reasonable legal fees, that comes from your breach of these terms, from your breaking a law or someone's rights through the app, or from content you wrote that breaks these terms.

Ending

You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop the app. Sections 06, 07, 09, 11, 12 and 13 survive the end of this agreement.

13Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes go to the competent courts of Cyprus, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring them at home. Write to us first at [email protected]. Most things can be sorted out in an email.

Changes to these terms

When we change them, the date at the top changes. For anything that matters, the app tells you before it takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, delete the app.
